Kwagga Smith – South Africa Men’s Rugby Sevens Team

kwagga smithKwagga Smith is another member of the South Africa National Sevens team who was present for the 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medal victory, defeating New Zealand 17-12. The 5’11” flanker represented South Africa in the U-20 rugby union Junior World Championships in 2013 where he first came off the bench, only to become a starter by tournament’s end after scoring a try against Wales in the semi-final. Like his teammate Werner Kok, Kwagga became a member of the Springboks at only 20 years of age.
