Ghislaine Landry first represented Canada in 15s rugby before becoming part of the Canadian National Rugby Sevens team. Landry has led the World Rugby Women’s Sevens series in scoring the past two years. Her nickname “pocket rocket” reflects the speed she brings to the Canadian team. She began playing rugby in high school, then moved on to St. Francis Xavier University where. While at university, she won the CIS Rookie of the Year award, two back-to-back CIS Player of the Year awards as well as a CIS title.
