Ben Pinkelman is the youngest member of the United States National Rugby Sevens squad representing USA in Brazil. The Youth Rugby Player of the Year in 2014, Pinkelman played for Colorado State University Rams and was twice named Rugby Player of the week for Division 1-A schools. He started his rugby career as a freshman at Cherry Creek High School in Denver, Colorado. Pinkelman was the first recipient of the Graham Downes Rugby Scholarship in 2014, a once in a lifetime opportunity that includes round trip airfare to Durban, South Africa and four weeks of professional instruction from some of the world’s top coaches.
